It doesn't require someone to process too much information ( information overload) in order to make a decision.
Everyone wants to know the tools you are using
When people think they are getting the same tools as the pros are using they can be successful too.
It even outperforms webinar registration pages because not everyone wants to attend a webinar or can make the date
Buyers guide of magazines does extremely well.. the same holds true for opt in buyers guide.
When you say things that are counter intuitive.
Why should you create a resource guide squeeze page?
- It takes minutes
- Does not take that much time to create copy
- Converts higher then long form opt in ( has a lot of text and video )
- Create the bribe in less then a hour with Microsoft word then save to a PDF
The second kind of page is The Lesson Page
I encourage you to make a series of emails that people get when they opt in...
Using a auto-responder to set up some emails
On day 0 get a email
day 3 you get video lesson number 1
day 6 you get video lesson number 2
day 9 you get video lesson number 3
day12 you get video lesson number 4
Email Drip out
When you tell people how many are in the series then its part of a course there is a progress bar at the top that is updates ( its a phycological thing ) The like button is next to the video
and you can share it on Facebook at any time.
After someone opts in they get a lesson every day for six weeks
This is where the money is made is in the followup
This means you don't just make money after the launch
And you don't just make money where there's some promotion
This gets you paid each and every day.
The third kind of page is The "Webinar Registration Page"
Webinars will make you more money then anything that you have done ( in terms of event based marketing )
The majority of Fortune 500 Business to Business software companies are using the webinar to sell their software.
These are the highest conversion rates of all pages. There will build you relationships. The hightes paid people are all doing webinars on a regular basis.
