Branded traffic is the key to brand yourself it is traffic from people that know you and have given permission to market to them...
It is the exact opposite of interruption marketing or spamming...


How do you get this branded traffic? Well if you want to know you have come to the right place

By putting value into the marketplace
By solving the problems of your target market
Work on attracting you and those that study / are interested in the things that you like

Don't ever use non serving language...

" I don't know what my target market is "

If unknown attract " you " who are you...

Value in the online world = CONTENT
that comes in the format of

  2. articles
  3. videos 
  4. sound-cloud 
  5. Facebook Statuses 
  6. Instagram pics 
But two questions you need to ask when it comes to the content that you are getting out ...

1. What the heck do I talk about ?
2. Why would someone want to listen to me ?

If you want BRANDED traffic 
then you give them value and focus on them 
So what do I talk about again 

That is the key to brand yourself... 

Look at your notes and transfer them online 
Do you ever attend webinars? Read Book or attend events?  Making the sacrifices to make things better your writing checks... 

What can you do in 25 minutes ? 
You can Read a chapter 
Watch 3-4 short training or inspirational videos 
Transfer those notes to a video or social media (those old notebooks) 

Why would someone listen to me?? O.K BECAUSE YOU PROVIDE THEM VALUE 
If you broke down in the middle of the desert and someone offered you help would you ask for references first? 

always post on the the standards : Google plus , Twitter, Facebook... 
on a standard / daily basis... 
Pinterest... 

You can do SocialAdr is a paid service and will help you get more traffic by putting your links out there and people sharing thoes links... 

Post to Facebook Groups post in some groups... of 10,000, 5,000 and 25,000 
Post in a couple of groups but don't waste your time with a capture page in there... 
When someone posts in the FB group... people are looking for a buy button or a email op-in 
and if the answer is yes then they will close is

Now couple that with a FB post video and blam you got some awesome content that you can get out to the masses!

If you are posting a youtube video or blog you are going to get people to visit your page 

Instagram - the new social platform on site... Instagram and do tracking with bitly...bit.ly  

TIP: Track everything! Track where do you get traffic from? You need to do what it takes to find out where your traffic is coming from... 

# hashtags on Instagram are magical... If you search for a # it will find what you are looking for. 
throw a # hashtag on a comment and immediately rank for that comment.


Lets Talk Email here for a second

Let's talk about branding when it come to email :
After someone opts into your list give them their free report / free video, audio but let that be the only canned email that they will get .

Make the email totally you! Don't be the slick car salesman using pre made emails in their auto responder, people have become immune to that

Shoot them a email saying hey need help in your business are you looking for a mentor, here I am...


LEAD GENERATION ( 2 Tips )

1. Have a great give away ... the give away sucks you need to change it... have one that one that comes on your page and its the type you want. Make them toss and turn in their sleep if they don't get that great giveaway.

Tip : Have 3 give aways on the same capture page but change the giveaway - 1. A video  2. A Free Report 3. A Audio put them on a URL rotator
and see which one converts the best!

2. Ask them to become a lead - The number 1 reason people do not join is because you don't ask...
Just start doing a call of action every piece of content... Don't over complicate this
If you are using the following on your opt in forms " Get On My List" "Follow Me" " Join my newsletter" are freaking horrible

We want solutions to problems...

Some questions that I got emailed to me about this post and I wanted to go over that right now

Q: How long should my blog post be ?
A: Ideally shoot for 700 words and a video - at the very least shoot a video and post it... look at people like Eric Worre is a guy that just does a video. However someone like Ray Higdon does a video and a blog post..
My bear minimum is 350-400 words plus a video but if I don't do a video then my minimum is 500+

Now if I tell you that then you go o my god... you are thinking too small ... The key is consistency and value. Now if you are really wanting to brand yourself then I recommend then you look at those two people I just mentioned.  Hope that helped...

Q: What is my first plan of action I am brand new 
A: It depends on your goals I see business as two things marketing and prospecting... when I started my idea is network marketing. Ray Higdon did a blog post and video every day... and then spend a hour or hour on active prospecting... Don't be afraid to prospect... 

If you are new and you don't have anything shoot videos then have people email you thats your call to action... Thats with no blog, no website, no leads... intelligently prospect on social media and do a combination of that!

So when I came across these 7 things I simply had to share them with the rest of the world...



1. Forgetting to Capture the Info...


How is it that if you drive across the golden gate bridge they never forget to collect your money or if you happen to be on the toll road that they make sure to cough up the monies before your allowed to go on your merry way?

Why should we be any different... The content we possess is extremely valuable and the fact is why would we do a free webinar and not collect names and emails... I am all for giving away value and providing awesome content but sooner or later your going to opt-in I make it a point to make my marketing eventually capture a name and email...


Gone are the days of free webinars... people don't appreciate free anymore and if they want free then they probably have a broke mentality and until then they will always be broke...



2 Not putting a call to action to all your marketing 


This is brain dead move but I am sad to say I did this... or used to do this too... it's a rookie move but so many marketers are doing this...

When people land on your page you need to tell them exactly what they need to do or should do and why they should do it...


Limit this to one specific action... anything more then this you will confuse your readers.


You work hard on your stuff producing content it would not make since to go through all the trouble not to attempt to build your list.



3. Albert Einestine Syndrome 


So you are on every webinar and on every conference call but are you taking what you are leaning and throwing it out in the marketplace.

So you are extremely smart and knowledgeable when it come to making a business work but are you actually practicing and putting all that good knowledge to use?


Build the business while you learn at the same time! Take what you have learned and put that out in the marketplace!



4. You'r too easy to get a hold of


How often do you stop what you are doing to answer a message.... online / offline?
If you are available 24 - 7 you are not working hard enough... set a set time each day to anwser you emails and calls and only during those times.

Respect your own self by not allowing people to determine your schedule and set one for yourself!



5. F.E.A.R of Everything including your own shadow 



Worrying about things that could potentially happen is perhaps the most prevalent Time Vampire of all time. Yet we rarely think of it as such.
We spend hours at a time focusing our concerns on what could go wrong, who could make fun of us, and how we might look to others–99% of which will NEVER come true.
Imagine if we could take all this worry time into generating leads and making sales?
WOW! How would that change your business?
Just for today, stop worrying about what could happen. 
Just for today, forget about what others might say.
Just for today, commit to facing this one fear and like Nike " Just Do It!"
You’ll be amazed at what can happen and how GREAT you’ll feel about yourself.

6. Your a perfectionist 

You got a complex disorder that's o.k most marketers do and most successful people do for that matter.. however if you don't get it going and wait for that perfect moment you will never start the momentum 
I too understand the want/need to have everything perfect in 
 your business. It’s a curse many of us share.
But I’m here to tell you that your quest for perfection can and will leave you broke.
I’ve spent HOURS making things “perfect” in my marketing…emails, videos, blog posts, etc. And in the end, it’s time wasted because during that time, no leads were being generated and no sales were being made.
They put things out there and correct the course as they go along.
They never sweat mistakes and have the self-confidence to laugh at their mistakes along the way...to the bank! 

7. " Help , I'v fallen and I can't get up! " 

What? How can helping someone be a waste of time? 
You’re probably shaking your head, thinking I’ve lost my mind.
Let me explain. There’s something about helping others that makes us feel all warm and fuzzy. And after all, it’s what everyone tells us to do…Help those who need guidance and the good karma in the Universe will reward us.
I’m not arguing this, but when left unchecked helping others can be a HUGE Time Vampire.
You see, people take advantage. It’s something we all do. When we see something good, we want more of it.
And that includes FREE help
So if you’re out there offering free assistance to others (as you should), just be aware of this tendency and put some boundaries in place.

Sell them what they want but give them what they want and need. 

Number 1. Ebook, List or White Paper - 
Create a guide in easy to understand and read format. They normally help explain marketing topics such as: 10 blogs you cannot go without, 10 tips to getting a better conversion rate. 
Create a list of information. Think specifics here, cater to your audience what do they want to know about? 

Number 2. Strategy Call 
A free strategy call can benefit you and your new lead. They will have the opportunity to get some one on one time with you and you may gain them as a client. This requires you put in the time but the rewards can be great... PROVE YOUR WORTH! 

"My strategy calls are worth 250 dollars every day but for you sign up for one of my free calls and together we will have a breakthrough in your business."

So again for a exchange of perceived value you get their email address. 

Number 3. Webinar or Livestream

By creating a webinar it is a great way to put your face in front of your audience in a cost efficient away and you can be everywhere at once! Your leads also having the convenience of attending from the comfort of their own home!

The opt in rate is insane! You can put it on Evergreen business systems if you choose ( Google it ) 
share you knowledge!

Number 4. Free Video or Audio Training's 

Think of what you can offer to your audience. Here is where technology meet people you can have a weekly hangout training's in your digital community.
Tip: People will opt in for training videos because they can be used as a reference time and time again. 


Number 5. Coupons & Deals 
Does your business ever offer any deals? Would you be willing to give your email address fir 50 percent off your favorite store or a free ticket to a upcoming event?






"Get Your Free Ticket Now!"  " 50% Off All Products..." 


So in a trade you are giving them a deal for their email address... 

Number 6. Surveys or Contests  
People are willing to fill our surveys to get their voice heard. Restaurants ask you to fill out a survey for a free lunch. ( They get feedback and an email address!) 

Think about it, who does not what to win a contest as long at the giveaway is worth it. Lay's patato chips recently ran a "Choose your flavor" campaign in order to vote you had to register and give away your email address... 


Number 7 Juicy Bonus 
How can you sweeten the deal? Think of a way to entice your audience into action 

This can really be anything ...  "If you buy xyz and forward me your receipt I will do a one on call with you!

"Hey go over to this blog and training and if you want the bonus worksheet that goes along with this then put in your email and I will send you over the worksheet that goes along with this..."

Number 8 Assessment or Test 
These types of tests are regularly on Facebook. Have you ever seen the results from a personality quiz or posted in a friends news feed. 

"What kind of animal are you?"

It can be really any kind of quiz but the results will not be shown unless an email or Facebook signup has been received. Engage and interact with your audience. 

Number 9 Teleseminar 
These are great if you have affiliates. This is like a webinar but it combines several experts from different fields. This is a great way to broaden your audience. This is one of the best oldest and greatest ways to grow a list. 

It's kind of like a music concert you go to watch one particular band but you may hear from 3 or 4 others too in the process. 

Number 10 Information Gate / Price 

This is the process of holding back some information. People are curious by nature. Even if they are not completely sold on buying a product, they may just give out their email address to find out how much it costs or some other hidden details. 

You may not make a sale but its all about catching the lead! 


Keep a little bit of the best stuff behind a gate and allow entry upon the opt in...

Gives you a way to find others you can click on social links that you find people form

Search.twitter.com    ( click in the search box )  click on operators like a google search

If you do this 10 times a day then it will begin to compound over time...

You want to be searching- - - 
  • company names - go to mlm rankings.com 
  • marketing systems 
  • Now find people that are following network marketing superstars 
  • Network Marketing Authors 
  • Interent marketing events 
  • T.V Shows - Shark Tank 
  • Networking Times 
  • Better Networker 

Interact with people that are following you...

You can promote people and promote your profile within with your nitch.

Do you want to rank higher in the search engines? It's all about repurposing content that you create.

You can use this strategy to generate higher search engine rankings other then just writing a blog post by itself. This will help you get in that top 10 spot. 

Go to Google keyword planner and look for a specific search terms things 

Think about the keywords but its not specifically for keyword design... 

Now repourposing your content across multiple channels that will allow the serch engines to pick up your post / video and in most cases rank them on the same page. 

How ? 

1.)  DO A BLOG POST 
2.) DO A VIDEO - in description put a link back to the blog post and make a video commenting on your own post.  

The video does not have to be all that great ! Let me repeat that the video does not have to be all that great ! 3 to 5 minutes tops... 

Because of the keyword in the video it landed higher VIDEO is king for now... 

Here are the steps 

1. Write a blog post 
2. Then do a video and link it back to your blog post ( optimize the video ) 
3. Put your links in your blog post that relates to the product or service that your are in. 
4. Do a press release paid or unpaid 

This is under used. If you do this 5 days a week and with a low keywords. 

This is important

You got to keep the emotional ties to the article you are writing so it does not feel like the article was written for the sole purpose of keyword ranking.

Youtube is owned by Google so it loves videos. 


When you do your blog post don't put in a bunch of gibberish and crap just to rank for the search engines. Keyword stuffing is something Google will punish you for. 


Want to add another powerful tool to use.  Press releases, when utilized can help your content rank.  ( PRLOG.ORG ) If you write a really high valuable piece of content I believe you should do a press release. There are paid and unpaid services all you have to do is Google Search for "Free Press Release". 

Imagine for a minute that you decided to blog 5 days a week and you took 3 of your blog posts and decided to put 2 of them on free press releases and then the other one on a paid service. First, you are going to get incoming traffic to your blog or page. The other thing is the press release ranks higher at times then the actual posts! 

Thats all having to do with the search engines.

I encourage you to make a series of emails that people get when they opt in... 
Using a auto-responder to set up some emails 
On day 0 get a email 
day 3 you get video lesson number 1 
day 6 you get video lesson number 2 
day 9 you get video lesson number 3
day12 you get video lesson number 4 

Email Drip out 

When you tell people how many are in the series then its part of a course there is a progress bar at the top that is updates ( its a phycological thing ) The like button is next to the video 
and you can share it on Facebook at any time. 

After someone opts in they get a lesson every day for six weeks
This is where the money is made is in the followup
This means you don't just make money after the launch
And you don't just make money where there's some promotion 
This gets you paid each and every day.

The third kind of page is The "Webinar Registration Page"
