My 90 Challenge Has Begun 2 days late...Crap!

The 90 Day Challenge for me has begun -- officially...

I am 2 days late starting... The challenge started Monday but I can catch up it's Wednesday...

It's about breakthrough... and doing something in the first day of your life...

I have personal goals that I am going to be making over $10 grand a month my specific amount is known only to me...

I am going to gain huge momentum by doing simple things every day.


Now for me I have ADD at least ( they called it Hyperactivity ) when I was a kid.. Focus was not my strong point in life.. I sucked in school and graduated by going to a adult school..

When it comes to the money statement, isn't that pretty damn bold ... sure

I know it's possible I know its been done! I am doing it...

When I go to my bank I as for the bank statement and the teller looks at me and tells me my total in my bank account...

and then it hits me.... BAM!!!

I am going to be a red lanyard which is six figure a year earner...

The first step is the hardest and you won half the battle if you take on the challenge. You got to go against everything you have known...

People think it has to be the number no it is the action that get's the result.

#4 In terms of presentations quantity trumps quality the number of people or shots is more important then how perfect you did the shot.

Here are some numbers for all the analytically people or number crunchers out there 

60 percent of customers will say no more then 4 times before they buy,

44% will give up after their first no

Why I set my intention to be ALL IN !

There is a big difference between a choice and a decision... The power of choice and free will is what makes life so wonderful and worth creating..

I just found out from my wife's Ultrasound that I am going to be a father ... of TWINS!

I remember getting the news I never knew that expression " Week in the knees " and how true that statement was because I had to sit down from that...

I told my wife I need to spend $3,500 on a course that will take my business to the next level ...She looked at me and said "Honey I believe in you!" So rather then me putting it on other necessities for the family and our new found children she told me to make it happen...

How can I not succeed with my woman with a ironclad conviction of her husband and what he is capable of.

Now having your spouse or significant other just makes the process so much enjoyable...

My dad told me " Son don't ever do anything don't do it half ass " Funny how we remember things as a kid from our parents hungh?  So When I had the opportunity to go ALL IN in Empower Network I made a commitment to myself, my family and my team members...

Most people today if it is a direct selling company or Network Marketing company make a choice to get in but say I will try to make this work for x amount of time and if it dose not work I will move on... question is what the hell are you moving on too?

First off let me be clear just because I am promoting Empower Network does not mean that I am drinking the cool aid... I am an internet marketer... I use the internet to promote goods and services to people that I not only believe in but think that is so good that I believe in it... That means I can and do promote other products too!

If you are promoting something and don't believe 100 percent in it DON'T DO IT!!!
Your personal conviction will show in the videos you post and in the content you produce... People can smell B.S and see your true self coming through!

So when people ask me how much money are you making with that I can say... My bank account does not reflect my future... I am learning right now and just like college sometimes the learning curve is different for all of us..

I am on track to reach my (clear) intentions and will achieve my goals...

As long as you are in a forward direction every day and working toward your goals, You will not fail!

January 2014 in review

All I can say January was epic,

I rounded off the last part of January with the Empower Network Freedom event in Miami, Florida.

This event is for Empower Network affiliates and members to gather, celebrate, learn, collaborate and draw inspiration.

Many leave these events with a lot of new friends and a renewed energy for their own businesses. This event was no different. I saw and experienced a lot of breakthroughs. 

The event was from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, January 26. I arrived on Thursday to get ready, get settled, and meet with other leadership members

We had a team membership breakout session unlike anything I have experienced before. Our team has one on the highest success rates.

This was so cool because the people we have chatted with for so long on Facebook got to meet in person.

Product Launches 

The High Ticket Academy was launched. This product teaches marketers how to sell high-end, high-ticket and high-commission products, whether digital or physical. It is based on experience of selling 5 different workshops that cost from $3,500 to $25,000. The benefit of selling high-end items is higher commissions, higher profits, and more serious customers. 

Empower Network held a leadership panel, where we answered questions and trained the audience. It was designed to help the audience direct their business activities for more productivity, greater effectiveness and more sales. 

The highlight of my trip was i got to have some one on one time with my sponsor Jorden Shultz who is a six figure earner a year. Dont let that hippie look fool you. This guy is a marketing genus when it comes to social media and advertising... His laid back personality and his absolute wanting to help others make him " One Cool Dude" That and the fact he took last year about 16 different vacations!

I swear I woke up in the movie Groundhog Day...

WOW, I felt a need to write a post and explain my disappearance off the face of the Earth and think of what the hell is going on with my life

 December 2nd of this year hit me like a ton of bricks... Got notice that I will be having to go take over another site on a different project... "Sure No Problem," I replied to my boss. 

"He said with a very serious tone " It's in downtown Los Angeles ... my stomach fell to my feet.. I imagined the congestion the smog and the crazy people that awaited me..
 
 I could only imagine... This was about to get insane... So I thought I would explain why I have not blogged or emailed my team in almost the entire month. With all new jobs you need to get a routine down...

I work as a EMT ( emergency medical technician) by trade and have done so for the past 10 years. So the opportunity to have consistent work for the next 5 years I jumped at it. Little did I know what lay in store for me..

My "normal" work day starts out with me hearing the alarm clock go off about 2:45 am so I can can get up and get dressed and head out the door at 3:15 am. I then get into my little suv that does not have a working heater (gets cold in the high desert) and proceed down the hill literally to the valley. 

I arrive at the commuter rail station at the last stop of the line and hop on at 4:06 am it makes about a dozen stops before pulling into Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. 

This is where the fun begins. I always sit in the front of the train

right behind the engine. The ride is really a time to thrown on those ear phones or catch up on emails on my phone too and from work. 

I look around and its the same people on the same route doing the exact same thing. You got construction workers and business suits and police officers going to and from work everyday doing the same thing..
      
With all my knowledge that I have upstairs I know that I would be literally insane if I choose this lifestyle and moreover I would deserve to live a insane life If I did nothing to change it.

I made it a point to keep my family out of the city... and if at all possible keep them from having to uproot themselves... 

It's not that I despise the city except I have a problem if I can literally see my neighbor from across the way via windows. Not to mention if I can spit from my window and hit my neighbors house then I am too close. 

Every day I take the same route and every day I see the same people. I transition at Union 

Station to the subway. This is a experience all in itself. It seems to be filled with 2 types of people the sane that are hard working Americans and the insane..

The people that are "bums" It's not uncommon to see them sleeping at the top of the street like a piece of trash waiting for the sun to come up so they can  go about their day. 



I see little makeshift shanties along under the bridges of the commuter train route I just shake my head in disbelief at the conditions people live.

Why the hell would I want to give to foreign relief to help a child some seven thousand miles away when we have the under employed and displaced Americans in this city...

Whoa Scott, little off topic here... let's refocus here. So after three stops from Grand Central Station I pop up in the middle of the financial district  where you can look in any direction and see the building of a bank. 

As I come up the escalator I can see the project site directly starting at me. Its amazing to me that its like ants just going all over the place and doing their own thing in their own little world. To explain the job-site I work on is really that hard.  The picture below does not do it justice that is literally how my job-site looked when I first came on board..

The small modular trailer in the upper left hand side is the medical trailer ( First Aid Station )
I work in a large hole... let me be more clear on that. It' an entire block they carved out of the city three hundred feet down at its lowest point. 

This was the former site of the Grand Wilshire Hotel.. and will be once more however this is going to be the largest skyscraper West of the Mississippi. Seventy Seven (or so) stories of glass and steel set to open in 2016.


This is a huge undertaking achievement, and I find myself in the middle of all the excitement. I want this to be my last project. I don't want to continue this daily existence of a grind... I am so tired by the end of my day all I will say that the commute going home gives me the opportunity to reflect on my life...

I am happy to be working providing for my family but as the old adage goes " You got to be willing to do the things today others wont do in order to have the things tomorrow others wont." So I get out at now 4:00 pm to get on the subway make the transition over to the commuter train and get on so I can arrive at 6:00 pm at the station. 

Its going to be a good commute home as I have already missed the daily gind home and manage to be standing in the middle of my living room by 6:32 pm just in time to sit down to a good evening meal with my wonderful family

I sit with my family for the evening meal and then I start after eating on my business for the day devoting up until my eyes fall down and then get ready to do the same dance the very next day.. 

I hopefully can get to sleep by 9:00 pm with gives me the 5 hrs of sleep that I need to function It goes on 6 days a week 10 hrs a day...

So If I haven't had a post or a tweet or Facebook update.. that's why... It's been crazy.. I have tried to keep my sanity and get into a "rythem" I can work with. 

It's taken everything in me to start back up again and I don't know why. I believe that there is a secret entity at work here... something that is doing everything in its power to keep me down and have a broke mentality.

I feel like I have to make a break for it or I will never get out alive... I want to scream to the top of my lungs and get this over with... Next year is going to be a year I will never forget... My life is going in such a positive direction for the first time I can see things more clearer then ever before. I am either going to make it or die trying.

One tip I have noticed when in the subway system and around various people have your head on a swivel and don't stare at the crazy looking people ( normally mumbling to themselves) or having complete conversations with themselves... just have sunglasses on and walk on by like normal.

So what is the purpose to this post? That life is difficult its going to be hectic... we have to all do things that we don't want to for a greater good... In this life

"You have got to be willing to do the things today others wont do in order to have the things tomorrow others wont."

A couple of things.. even though we all of styles of marketing that are are taught the  thought processes are the same...the philosophy.

One of the first things you got to understand is that you need to find a pool of people who are looking for something ... Its really hard to sell a baseball bat to a ballerina

You have got to have the right message to the right people and drop your bait in. You got to give them something that they want...

So First things first...
Make a list where these people are at... How many times have you seen free stuff (different programs) and you did not opt into the program...

Who are the people what do they want and how can I give it to them.. we need to get prospect oriented instead of me oriented..

So this list is where people are hanging out at ... FACEBOOK... friends, or in groups , fan pages there are a lot of people that are doing what we are doing... 99 percent of the the people that think are in business are not are your prospect. They are running around marketing but they will buy something from you... People that are following marketing celebs and the less accessible.

The more inaccessible that people are and the more you are is better  for you... if you go to the pages of people that are big... but you got to go to the group with a wanting to help rather then to pitch...

Groups... are spammy.. the bigger the group...
they are a challenge... people can copy and paste...yes... they are a pool... not by generating the lead by posting pay  attention that you notice that are actually working ( posting ) every day.. become friends with those that are actually working it.

YOU TUBE - look at videos interact and subscribe.. do a search on YouTube for target market and find videos and subscribe to their channel search for your target market look for videos that have uploaded videos lately ( people with a only couple of links) and interact with them...

You can go after people in other companies but build a bridge.. find people that you can meet... and subscribe to all those people when they get the email he is going to click on your channel and you check on them.. that's human nature... to investigate who and have a great opt in offer. a sexy headline or great giveaway if you done it correctly they have no way but to opt in...

You can go into You Tube and literally get your prospects and do this for like 15 minutes a day
find a video and subscribe to their channels... because and subscribe to them don't have to comment or even watch.. and you can see who is working and who is not subscribe 15 - 20 people a day...

Put cool stuff in groups... and where is this curious offer put... one can be in your description on your link
what ever video you are featuring you may want to make very prominent.

Twitter you can search for any term and see who is talking about it now... and when you have a conversation with them or find their site and talk to them like a human being.. wouldn't they want to know who you are?

Attraction Marketing is just that... if people know you then they actively seek you out and try to get to know you... there is also free where you create things and people locate you
Videos, Audios..

But the best way is to go out and grab the leads today... retail income...money now income...  how to generate today... you can generate 5 to 10 leads a day and if you you do that you can be doing  exceptionally well.

Should you lean how to run a Facebook ad YES! Should you learn video marketing and have a alter ego... sure...why not...  should you you create a lead today that could make you sales today... yes.

Lets break this down if you only have a hour a day to market do 30 min quick hit and 30 min long term
Do something that will make you 5-10 leads now and then create a piece of content that will work for you over and over and over...

Video that is seen will get you paid over and over and over... put together a plan that will generate a profit now...

Calico Ghost Town with the family

I had the pleasure of going with the family to Calico Ghost Town located between Las Vegas NV and Los Angeles California.

Me the wifey and our 4 kids had the opportunity to California's largest Silver Mine at one time... In fact if you ever been to Knott's Berry Farm in Southern California the idea for the GHOST TOWN was taken directly from the Calico Ghost Town...

I will next year be going in a Motor home and camping over the weekend... I had the opportunity to take a "Last Ride" in a actual coffin... It had a soundtrack of someone being picked up from the mortuary and then driven ( very badly ) to the cemetery and then thrown down in the ground. I had more of a claustrophobic issue then I did with the bumping around the inside...

That is the only time I want to be alive and inside a coffin... Other then that I totally recommend going to the State Historic Park

Why I am Leaving YouTube

Hey guys and gals.. wanted to shoot a quick video on YOUTUBE.. I just had a friend of mine that literally had hours and hours of powerful content and information wiped off off the face of the earth by the giant known as YOUTUBE... 

I am posting this video YOUTUBE so if you see a blank screen about on my blog post where I embedded the video and no video is showing then you will know why... ;)

I am a professional internet marketer and I am going to post a lot of content for my fans and my team and I want to go ahead make content that will be around for years to come...

It makes me sick to my stomach to think literally my friends channel...  the hours of blood sweat and tears...his channel erased... Now, he had to pull some strings jump backwards and forwards and a near act of God to get his channel back? But he did.

Why? Because people, ( HATERS) can flag your account and the big giant does not care nor do they care to respond very quickly to your customer service needs either...

There are people that don't like you don't like what you stand for don't want you to succeed and that exactly why I am taking steps to secure my future...

So I am from this moment hosting all valuable content off site and keeping all original video backed up!
I plan on pouring on the value and if you are going to be in it to win it you might want to think about doing the same...

Don't get me wrong I will still use YOUTUBE still but not as my primary source of hosting videos...

Suggestions???

Hosting on a video hosting site is roughly $20 - $50 bucks a month but then again I look it as something I simply cannot live without... Protect you first amendment rights!

Blogging 2 of 5 Content is King

So this is post 2 of a 5 part series and this is were I dive into the subject of content... The posts you create and put online are as important as blood in your veins. So what is the magical formula... Blog 5- 7 times a day... at least 500 words for optimize on Google and populate on the other search engines.

It it hard... well right now I can barely keep my eyes open as its 11 am I was up at 4am and worked the whole day on a construction site I made it home by 8:30 after I got a flat tire today... Do you think I want to sit here and talk about content right now... YES!!

Do you know way???

I know whats awaits to the sacrifices... but that is another post for another day... back to the subject matter at hand.

Just remember content is king and so is consistency...

Eight Ways To Screw up Your Marketing

So marketing is a horrible thing to waste you work hard to build a reputation and generate hopefully a word of mouth marketing. What if you are undermining your own efforts I have included the following 8 things that will kill your business. 

1. Your marketing is focused on you 

It should be about your product or services right? Well no it should be about what the product or service can do for your customers. Take yourself out of the marketing and put you customer at the heart of it. Make the customer / prospect the center for your story. 

2. You market to yourself

Do base the needs wants and desires of your customers based on your friends. Basically you can mess this one up by making assumptions , and on that note... 

3. You didn't know your target audience

If you are not the target customer then who is exactly? Invest the time to understand what your customer / prospect behaves. How do they live work? Where do they purchase? What marketing nitch do they fall under? 

4. You market by committee 

Get a group together and suddenly they know what is best for your customer / prospect . Marketing is like parenting everyone thinks that they can do it effectively. Stay away from the unfocused ideas tossed around by the group. You know who your customers / prospects are and how to reach them. That might be a problem if ...

5. You didn't have customer data

I said it once and I am going to say it again. Research not opinions or gut instinct should be the foundation of your marketing program. Try to think of data as your giving you the insights into new opportunities, and that foundation of that which is inspired.

6. You Rely on example Analogy

Its always good to look at what people are doing outside the organization even outside the industry. Don't wait for a case study in your specific industry or vertical to prove the effectiveness of a marketing tactic. Innovation is normally the the act of taking something that work over there and using it over here.

7. You are not shaping shared experiences

Consumers today rely on the social web so does their peers so marketing becomes about enabling those connections. Are you encouraging and supporting the interactions of your customers by rethinking the way you reach out to potential customers before they identify themselves to you as prospects? 

8. Finally , You keeping your lips sealed 

So... what happens when a customer reaches out to you on social media do you respond with an answer or with silence? Customers expect real time or near time responses. At 24 hrs you can forget it..

My First Leads ... Celebrate Results

I got My first Leads.

I was told by my team leaders to celebrate the actual accomplishments... no matter how small... So I want to be clear that my actual examples of my results may very... but I actually took Rob Fores course on Posting on Purpose... Now I don't do all the methods on every post but I tested it out on one post I did on Magnetic Sponsoring Post Review... No SEO optimization...

This post was simply to celebrate my first actual leads with my blog!!! I had done what my leaders were telling me and understand its going to be different every day to your specific nitch however it was literally 3 weeks of straight bogging and every day posting on FB and something happened...

LEADS!!! FREE LEADS FROM A FREE BLOG AND FREE SOCIAL MEDIA!

So here is formula do something get leads do more of the same thing and get more leads...

I wanted to go over a fact that 95 percent will never generate more then 4 actual leads for a business!!!

I got as of this posting on today's date was 71 actual views of that blog and 10 of them were sign ups into my marketing funnel!!! I am doing the happy dance... I have 18 people that have visited my blog just today so far as of 10AM ... and I am going increase postings and content very soon.,..

Hey you actually get to see the beginnings of a internet marketing superstar.... I got plans to quit my job by projects end ... ( Year from now ) totally doable....

So Scott how are you going to do this if you work 14-17 hrs a day Monday - Sunday (sometimes) well thats where the power of using marketing strategies and tactics... are going to actually save your ass and make it so you can be everywhere at once....

It is possible to have a internet lifestyle and work 4-6 hours a week! I am creating the blueprint now and laying the foundation.

Let's face it work sucks and if you could spend time having sex with your wife / or husband and working which would you choose? I am being honest here... It's these strategies I am learning right now...and if you want to find them out you can catch it here... http://www.hangoutwithscott.net 

So I don't have the super car / hours or the lifestyle but I can blog about my success and what I did to get there...  That's the beginning... then when you have more success blog / video about that...
Until one day. You arrive...

I want to stress... that Blogging / video is my primary ways to get traffic its not the only ways and in my opinion the more you focus more then 2 or 3 strategies the more you will NOT succeed... Don't throw mud against the wall syndrome...

ALWAYS... celebrate your accomplishments and also teach how you got them...

I had a " friend " look at me while I was shooting a 2 min video today and done with my marketing today and after I finished said " I can never do what your doing..." I looked back and smiled and said "That's ok I can never imagine working at a job for the next 30 years living pay check to pay check."  The look was one of shock and actually, it was priceless... he simply walked away...

Freaking Awesome...

So I sit here listening to money earners talk about a few key things that literally blow me away... one is the fact they can work 1 or 2 hours a day and literally they can be at the beach go hop online put a post or 2 shoot a video... done... send out a email to their list done....

Can you start the E - Lifestyle from the beginning no... and thank god because then this would not be such a wicked awesome lifestyle...

So this is what is amounts I have been listening to 10, 20, and 30 and one 50 k a month money earners that have all shared the same information to me as I have been listening to audio after audio... I must say that the single biggest thing I do now is take the hour commute to and from work so 2 hours a day 10 hr a week 40 hours a month 460 hours of life changing potential. I know what your thinking...

Scott What does that have to do with the E - Lifestyle ?

EVERYTHING....

You got to get the thing between your ears right before you can accept the E lifestyle... I used to think that positive  feel good stuff was bull crap but the fact of the matter is that you got all these top money earners are saying the same damn message and it's like becoming more clear...
I am buying into it and something weird is happening,.. I would describe it as a change in state... its like when you remember the movie the Matrix?? ( GO SEE IT IT'S TOTALLY BADASS!) it's so good I named my first little girl Trinity after one of the lead characters...

So you get what I call a dose of the Red Pill and the world you know becomes something of smoking mirrors and the world as you know it changes... I can only describe that the point of view of the world changes... So when you change how you think and act you make changes to the way you approach your business... you start to live a happier life... you start to enjoy life more....
the pressures of the world don't affect you like normal... think I am full of it? O.k I will accept that
but here is the fact... You go be right and I will be go be  rich....

I invested in a product that I will share the link here and its literally a $100 dollar a month program...( you can see it in detail here )  all audios and that is by far the biggest reason for my transformation... you will hear money earner after money earner talk about it but also here is another thing... as there is a book that states "Faith without works it dead" So you become lazer focused and don't throw mud against the wall.

I want to have the E- Lifestyle its a 90 180 day gind at first and there is a learning curve but once you get it setup your good to go its a set up process then its a automation at the top of this blog and see how the E - Lifestyle can work for you instead of you working like everyone else...

When I say that its not like a "normal job"...
