You got to have the right tools in the business
There are certain things you need to operate a business and have a " Home Based " business.
I wanted to share with you my 10 needed things that can really help you in your business. This is one method of doing a business offline and using the almighty phone to produce results.
1. Office space - If you can use a closet then so be it... you need a space where you can put if at all possible get away from all the distractions and focus on you.. let everyone know when you are in your "space" that you need to be off limits. Be sure to involve the family. Keep it clutter free and have your vision board visible.
2. Schedule - We all have 24 hrs a day there are only 2 ways to make money don't mistake being busy for production work. Getting customers and getting customer getters... 80 % should be used on that the rest of the time should be used on training... Get a calendar and block out time that you cannot change or willing to change and then you devote the rest to your business. If you can carve out a hour and a half a day to devote to your business. If you can do that you can put 5 to 6 people a day into your business.
3. Know your pipeline - If you do not not know what your pipeline is then get with the most successful person in your company and find out by asking them. Below is simply an example
Normally it starts out with a email, a recorded call, a video or a presentation of some type.. it opens up someones mind to be thinking how to secure their future. It does not tell the whole story it just gets them open to making money outside what they are doing now...
Step 2 You might want to qualify them and send them s survey and interview form once submitted that sends them over to the auto responder goes into play on the 10 top benefits of joining a home based business.
Step 3 Is calling them with a good phone scrip and talking to them and making a connection with them.
Step 4 is getting them over to what ever tool that you are using.
Step 5 Call them back to take their temperature
Step 6. Doing a 3 way call with a up line expert or you can skip to...
Step 7 . Collecting a decision Get a answer customer or rep.
4. You have to have a good phone script for when you reach someone live and a phone script for when you reach a machine which will happen 70% of the time...
5. A Good Contact manager you need to have a way to keep track of people other then 3 x 5 cards or yellow post it notes and if you plan on operating your business. ( front range ) or gold mine contact manager or outlook express either pc based or internet based. This keeps them from falling through the cracks...
6. Have a good phone that sounds good and get a headset... have a headset so you can be mobile

9. Have a goal for the calling session are you going to do 50 or 100 calls or strictly 1 hour.
whatever that is make sure that you do it and always end the day on a good note never leave your calling on a bad note.
